August 2025 Roundup: Scoring Deep Dive
August was the month we got obsessed with accuracy. Sixty-one commits. Almost every single one was about making sure your numbers are right. Because when you're settling bets or checking your handicap, you deserve to trust what you see.
TrueScore leveled up
We rebuilt how TrueScore works so it actually plays fair. Nine-hole rounds and 18-hole rounds are now compared properly — no more weird swings that don't make sense. Your score reflects what you shot, period.
GHIN and handicaps done right
GHIN round counting is correct now. Your strokes show up when they should. And here's a small but important one: the scorecard only shows handicap info when handicaps are actually in play. No more confusing labels on scratch rounds.
Charts and tables that make sense
Green means good. Red means bad. Every chart and table follows the same rules now, so you can glance at your numbers and know exactly where you stand. No more squinting at decimals or wondering what the colors mean.
Tournament scoring fixed
Four-man scramble? Fixed. Match play? Fixed. Betting lines for 9-hole rounds? Fixed. We chased down every format and made sure the math holds up. Your tournament numbers are finally trustworthy.
The bottom line
Scoring is hard. Different formats, different hole counts, different handicap systems — it all has to line up. August was about making sure Clubhousen gets it right so you can trust the numbers when it matters. Your numbers should be right. Now they are.
