The Bottom Line: ESPN-Style Live Ticker for Your Golf Life
You know the scrolling ticker at the bottom of ESPN that keeps you updated on every game while you watch one? We built that for Clubhousen.
What It Shows
The Bottom Line is a teal scrolling bar above the main tab navigation. It cycles through segments based on what's happening in your golf world right now:
- Your Live Round — your current score and your playing partners'
- Friends Live — friends who are mid-round with their score, hole, and course
- Tournament Standings — live leaderboard standings for tournaments you're in
- Pro Tour — top of the leaderboard for active PGA Tour and LIV Golf events
- Recent Rounds — scores your friends recently posted
- KOM Rankings — where you sit on the handicap leaderboard among friends
If nothing's happening, the bar stays hidden. When your golf world is active, it fills up.
Live During Your Round
This is the big one. When you're in the middle of a tournament round, keeping score on the scorecard, the Bottom Line shows you live tournament standings — who's leading, who's making a move — without leaving the scorecard screen. No tapping out to the leaderboard and back. No losing your place. The action comes to you.
The ticker updates in real time via Pusher, so it reacts to score changes as they happen — not on a polling delay.
Always On, Never in the Way
The Bottom Line sits just above the tab bar. It's small enough to ignore when you don't need it and useful enough to glance at when you do. Tap on any segment to jump to the relevant screen — your scorecard, a friend's round, the tournament leaderboard, or the pro event detail.
Bottom Line
(Yes, that's the feature name.) Live scores, live standings, live updates — from your tournament, your friends, and the Tour. All in one scrolling strip that goes wherever you go in the app.
