March 2025 Roundup: Building the Foundation

Roundup

March was when Clubhousen stopped feeling like a side project and started feeling like a real platform. We shipped 156 updates — and yeah, we're counting. This was the month we built the engine.

Your profile finally tells a story

We gave your profile charts and visualizations that actually mean something. See your scoring trends, watch your handicap move over time, and get a real picture of how your game is trending. No more guessing. Seven different chart types got love so you can actually read the numbers without squinting.

TrueScore MVP — our secret sauce

We launched TrueScore at the end of March. It's our proprietary way of measuring how you're really playing against your handicap. Think of it as the stat that cuts through the noise. We're still tuning it based on feedback, but the foundation is there.

Sportsbook got faster and cleaner

We reorganized the sportsbook tabs and made the whole thing snappier. Less waiting, more betting. We also built the first prototype of Markets — more on that later. The point: we're not just fixing bugs, we're building something you'll actually want to use.

Photos and messages that don't suck

Profile photos now support cropping and compression so your mug looks sharp without blowing up your storage. In messages, you can finally view images full-screen instead of squinting at thumbnails. Small wins that add up.

Push notifications that actually work

We killed the duplicate alert problem. No more getting spammed when one thing happens. Timezone handling got fixed so events and rounds show up when they're supposed to. Member search works when you're looking up people in your crew. Video processing is more reliable. The boring stuff that makes the app feel polished.

March was about building the foundation. The flashy stuff comes later — this month we made sure the engine runs.
