Mid-March 2026: Stats, Feed, and Under-the-Hood Upgrades

Roundup

The first two weeks of March brought a wave of improvements that make your stats more visual, your feed smarter, and your rounds easier to track.

Spider Charts for Your Skill Profile

Your profile now features a spider chart that maps five dimensions of your game: Distance, Accuracy, Approach, Short Game, and Putting. Each axis shows your Strokes Gained performance against a benchmark, so you can see your strengths and weaknesses at a glance. Tap any node to see the exact numbers.

The feed got spider charts too — a player skill carousel shows top players with their profiles visualized the same way.

Auto-Import GHIN Rounds

If you've connected your GHIN account, your rounds now import automatically. No manual entry, no catching up after a weekend of golf. Clubhousen checks for new scores, deduplicates against rounds you've already logged, and pulls in hole-by-hole data — including putts, GIR, and fairways hit. Recent rounds get a feed post; older rounds import quietly in the background.

Directional GIR and FIR Tracking

The scorecard now tracks where you miss, not just whether you miss. GIR cycles through hit, miss-left, miss-right, miss-long, and miss-short. FIR tracks hit, miss-left, and miss-right. Over time, this builds a picture of your tendencies that feeds into your stats and AI Caddy recommendations.

Stat Cards and Profile Modals

Profile dashboard cards for GIR%, FIR%, putts per round, scramble%, and driving distance now include a "View History" link that opens a detailed modal with trend charts. Handicap history, scoring distribution, and differential trends all have their own modals too.

Enhanced Feed Cards

Feed cards got a visual refresh with cleaner layouts, bordered sections, and engagement modules (like, comment, share, bookmark) on every post. Round cards display better — with player images, course info, and score in a scannable grid. The feed algorithm now prioritizes posts you haven't seen yet and factors in engagement quality (view time, not just likes).

Premium Gating Polish

Premium features now use a consistent lock-icon pattern with a clear "Unlock with Premium" prompt. Whether it's Strokes Gained charts, Pools, TourCuttas, or sponsor logos — the upgrade path is obvious without being obnoxious.

Bottom Line

Mid-March was about making your data more useful and your daily experience smoother. Spider charts give you the big picture, auto-import saves you time, directional tracking gives you better insights, and the feed is smarter about what to show you. More to come.
