Tournament Management: Smoother Than Ever

Running a tournament is a lot of work. We've made it easier.

We've rolled out a set of improvements for tournament hosts — from smarter access control to better data safety to a cleaner management experience.

Date-Based Access Control

The Manage Tourney button is now hidden for past tournaments. No need to see it for events that are already done. Keeps the interface clean and focused on what's active.

Scoring Backup and Restore

Live scoring can get hectic. We've added scoring data backup and restore so hosts can save tournament state during play. Something go wrong? Restore from a backup and keep going. Peace of mind when it matters most.

Player Removal Safeguards

When you remove a player from a tournament, we now warn you if that player has existing scores. Prevents accidental data loss. You'll know exactly what you're about to do before you confirm.

Cleaner Setup and Navigation

The modal UI for tournament setup has been improved. Round number navigation was fixed to persist correctly — no more losing your place when you switch views. Pairing and roster management handles handicaps properly. The system handles multi-day tournaments with correct date parsing.

Leaderboards and Scoreboards

PGA leaderboard modals for TourCuttas now show owned players with payout amounts formatted as currency. Tournament field average calculations are grouped correctly. The bottom line scoreboard shows all scores from the tournament in one place.
