A Year in Review: Building Clubhousen from the Ground Up
We built this thing from scratch and it's only getting started — here's the year that proved it.
The Numbers
751 commits. 76,000+ lines of code. April was our biggest month at 276 commits. We went from a tournament scoring tool to a full social golf platform. That's the headline.
How It Unfolded
March: TrueScore and GHIN integration went live. Messaging got a major overhaul so you could actually have real conversations with your group.
April: Video and posts landed. Biggest month of the year. You could finally share that chip-in or that putt that should have dropped.
July: Markets and Calcuttas shipped. Betting and auction-style events became core to the experience.
August: Scoring accuracy deep dive. Handicap factor support made the math fairer.
October: PICKS launched. Sportsbook. Follow the pros and make your picks.
February 2026: Feed redesign, Badges system, Profile revamp, Android launch. The app felt like a new product.
What That Means for You
The app now does tournaments, betting, messaging, profiles, pro tour content, video, GPS maps — and works on both iOS and Android. We grew from a narrow tool into a platform that supports how you actually play and socialize around golf.
Looking Ahead
2025 was about building the foundation. 2026 is about refining it. We have a lot more in the pipeline. Thanks for being along for the ride.
